What is best for chronic pain
I've been suffering from chronic back and neck pain for several years. I'm not on any narcotics or opiates at the moment. I also have fibromyalgia. I was wondering if anyone who uses Kratom for pain could give me some advice.
Which Kratom product is the best for pain? Does body weight account for how many capsules I should take in a day? Is there a trusted vendor? I've purchased some Maeng Da in the past and it did nothing. Tasted like wheat grass. Don't want to get taken again.

I have osteoarthritis and find that a combo of red bali and white indo works well. During the day 75%W/25%R and closer to bedtime simply flip the white to red ratios. Combined totals between 4-8g depending upon ones own tolerance and physiology. When I have a real bad day and can just lay back, a whopping 9-12g of Red Horn is as effective as a 10mg norc.
I get great relief from greens, reds, golds and some select whites. I have a arthritic spine , chronic pain for most of my life .... the biggest thing to always consider is sourcing leaf from trusted vendors . It’s a bit of experimenting to see what amount and what types provide the most relief for your chemistry.

Also, in case someone else asks, body weight has not been shown to make a difference. Some folks don’t believe that and use more than necessary (IMO), but that’s only because they think that body weight MUST be like other things like say, alcohol.
Kratom is so counterintuitive. I use that word a lot but it’s the best word for explaining that more is actually not always as helpful. MORE may be necessary, but trying less first is much more helpful at gauging the amount for you.
Less is more. Even for larger folks.
Funny thing is, I already KNOW that and I still sometimes get my spoon filled ROUNDED (too much) when I’m in the middle of a muscle spasm and desperate.
Some people can get good relax/chill/nap from those larger amounts! I just get the wobbles and lose out on any benefits for the next 3 or 4 hours.
