My apologies for the delayed reply.
- My favorite at this time for pain is In Sense dark red MD. That has been my life saver over the past year. I’m into my second kilo of that and I don’t buy kilos. Ever. They have an active discount code for members here: ILKFORME15%
- A brand new favorite is the private stash red Malaysian from PDO (Pharmacy Drop Out) and ILK is the discount code
- Red Bali from several vendors like Top Extracts is helpful for rotating and keeping tolerance fresh.
- a favorite green blend from High Sierra Herbals is particularly helpful for mood lift.
These are not the lowest priced vendors. I find these vendors and Kratomeye, Elevated Botanics (ask about their free samples) are better quality and more widely helpful for the majority of users.
Some very good vendors that are popular for many people are: Re-LEAF LLC; COB (Christopher’s Organic Botanicals) and Laughing Lion is also a favorite vendor!
I do not get sleepy when using most red vein products. The red Malaysian from PDO is amazing but does make me drowsy. I’m often considered to be an “opposite” and others get sleepy using reds I get energized from.
Told you I would confuse you.
Most of these vendors carry sample packs and small sizes. Be sure to take advantage of that. Buying more to save money is not monetarily worthwhile until you have tried some of these and see what works for you and THEN order larger bags.
I’m pretty tarred tonight, so feel free to ask me more questions if I confused you.
Have a wee bit better day!
Also! I forgot to mention that I agree with @somethingsacred Brandon’s suggestions, too! He and I have differing favorites and we don’t share the same responses, metabolically. But. He has a lot of good experience and I trust his suggestions and you should, too. We tend to shop with different vendors and recently he made me a gift of baggies from his favorites and I gave him some stuff he actually doesn’t already have (shocker there, haha). I’m just now sampling some of his kind donations to my rotation bag.
He is not as debilitated as I am (he has a hard full time job and I can’t work on my feet nor full time). So between the two of us, you have some seriously diverse recommendations. And @littlebear3 has been a big contributor on the forum for years. She’s got nurse skills and has some challenges as well. She can be a big help to you if we haven’t. I do hope you don’t have CRPS, but that disease seems to be able to go into remission once people change the stresses in life down. I’m not saying that it’s from being stressed out. I know 2 people who had lots of pain from that illness and one got divorced and found a new girlfriend and his went into remission since! The other one stopped working at a job he hated and got a job he was interested in and now he is free of active pain from CRPS. I’m pretty sure it’s a lifelong condition and I have absolutely no medical knowledge. Maybe it’s a coincidence with those guys. I’m going to hope you find some remission with that portion of your pain 🙏. The pain itself is stressful! Let us know what you think about doing based on your information so far. It’s important to do follow-up here, too. That way other people can refer to these discussions and maybe find some inspirational hope for their challenges, too. So please check back in, hopefully.
Have a wee bit better day!
Sort of Weird, but I take Kratom for pain due to a motorcycle accident a couple of years ago and for some weird reason, I can not stand the taste of reds.
Green or white, no problem.
Just me I guess 🙂
Lauire will answer your question shortly . In the meantime , I’ll tell you how I go about it . I’ll mix diff varieties like red and white for example, at a 1:1 ratio to start. Could start with a 1:2 or 2:1 .... Depending on what your trying to achieve and the alkaloid profile of a particular batch or variety you have , you’ll add more of the white for added energy , or more of the red for added pain relief .
I like mixing green and white together . Red and white (pink lol) can be very lovely . Red and green also excellent.
Even mixing red , white and green together can be great .Which some folks in the industry will call a yellow based on the ratios of the blend .
Nothing short of experimenting with diff mixes will give you an idea of what you like best for specific relief effects .
Hope that helps 🍂👍
Life is better with Kratom

Welcome back to the forum! @somethingsacred Brandon gave solid advice AGAIN. I am not technically qualified to answer any further than what he said.
Some vendors do the mixing for you, look for the pink strains as @somethingsacred mentioned. Those blends are usually better than what I conjure up!
I usually have mostly red in mine and then add white, just like you thought! You are right on track. Just be careful not to end up with too much by mixing. It’s still super important to keep the dose low.
Sometimes (today, for example) I cut my dose of red down and that alone helps with the needed energy! I just did that about a half an hour ago because I get sleepy after eating.
Writing down what you used can be helpful so you can do it again. I’m lazy and as a result, don’t get the same exact mix - ever!
