I have been using Kratom for the past couple of months. For the first month and a half I was using it every once in a while and I would typically take 1tsp (7 Size 0 Capsules). This stuff has done wonders to treat my anxiety, social anxiety, and depression. My favorite strain is the White Sumatra strain. These past couple of weeks, I've decided to cycle the strains to get a more constant effect with it, as it is not fun to have anxiety and depression return while I'm out with people. I bought a few more strains and began cycling them for about a week. I bought my kratom from Kwikkratom.com. I would cycle Green Indo, Green Mayla, Maenga Da White, and White Vein Sumatra. On Monday, a friend and I went on a trip to visit a friend and it was a 6 hour drive, so I wanted to be sure I was social and carefree on this trip, so I took 5 of the White Vein Sumatra before leaving and I took 2 more later on in the day when I felt it wearing off. It was great. For the first time in my life I was totally myself with another person. When I got to my friend's place, I went to bed and decided to take the same strain the next day, because Sumatra does the best for me. When the 3 of us left for a 2 hour drive, I started noticing some slight nausea. I didn't think much of it. So I drank a ton of water and felt okay. When we got to the theme park we were going to, I started feeling really bad and ran for a restroom. I got into the stall and had some diarrhea, but my stomach still felt like it was going to implode. My breathing was heavy, I sweated profusely, starting shaking, muscle spasms, and some numbness. After I felt okay to walk again, I went outside and went to the first aid to get my nausea treated. I had fun the rest of the day at the park, but my anxiety and depression flared up pretty bad. So I decided to stop taking it for a few days and I'm going to start going back to using it only when I need it. Though, I really do like what kratom does for my anxiety and depression, so I wish I could keep using it. I am seriously considering going to a doctor to get medication because one of my friends takes a prescription and she claims it does wonders for her. I also would like to mention that I have been taking St. John's Wort (350mg) 2 twice daily, for the past 2 months, Vitamin D3(1000 IU) daily for the past month. Vitamin B12 (1000 mcg) every other day for the past month, and Ashwaghnda (500 mg) 2 right before bed for the past month. Do you think mixing these things was a bad idea?
Now this is odd. You had been taking kratom for about 2 months with only positive effects. The day you experienced the severe nausea is what I would venture to say is an anomaly. What was in your system that morning, what did you ingest? The mix of kratom with the St. Johns Wort and or the ashwaghnda could be a factor. It is likely not something the kratom did on it's own, unless you took too much. If this happens again, I would be concerned and seek medical attention. Other than that, kratom has been consistently helpful for you. I would say it is another success story in a long line of success stories. Good luck and I hope you nail down the culprit.
There can be so many different factors at play when taking Kratom. It could be the other Vitamins that you are taking or could be something that you ate with Kratom that made it more Potent or you just could have taken a little more than you are accustomed to. You also need to be sure & be Hydrated while taking Kratom because Kratom will dehydrate you. I would take the Lowest dosage possible & get a grams weighing scale & weigh each dose out & find the sweet spot dosage for you & take that amount.
