Hello all new too this forum but definetly not new too kratom
Hi Oregon, and welcome to a great forum!
I am new to this forum too, and also new to Kratom--so far, with very disappointing results. (See my new thread, "Is it possible to get off tail end of Opiate Addiction with Kratom.") But I am not ready to give up yet.
How long have you been using Kratom--just curious?
Glad to have you on the team here, and thanks for saying hi.
Just FYI, I am a full-time writer and editor who is currently unemployed. Hmmm, full-time sounds like an oxymoron right now! The holidays always seem to devastate the publishing world. May I ask how you spend your time?
Nice to meet you.

Hello 420Oregon, was wondering what part of Oregon you live in? I live on the Columbia river right across from oregon. I get my groceries in Oregon "no sales tax" 🙂
I love Eugene, but I hate driving in it. I've drove in Seattle, after being up for two days and one night. I have drove through Portland, also after being up for two days...and Eugene, but I was fully rested when in Eugene. One might think that Eugene which has a small population of 250,000, would be easy to drive in. I live forty miles away from Eugene, so I've been there several times. It is by far, the worst place to drive in. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but it's true...
Once a person can get past the misplaced traffic signs (i.e. this way to Interstate 5), and general loss of direction due to the lack of proper signs, and sometimes a complete lack of them...the fun starts to show.
I went to an Infected Mushroom concert a few years ago. I've been listening to them for about 15 years. I have met Erez, and have pictures with him, and will attach a picture of him and I at the end of this message. They're my favorite music group of all time, and have been for about a good 10 years. I don't know if I have ever had that much fun in my entire life...so much dancing and what-not. It was a crazy night, and it was all in Eugene, so I have some fond memories. I also got to try Voodoo donuts. That's a big deal over here in Oregon. I do not suggest any of their food, but I do suggest the beer. They make a Bananna and Chocolate beer that is to die for, in a Pink Bottle. They also have a Maple Bacon beer, which is a 10.
People seem to be liberated over there. There were tons of cops walking the beat downtown, and tons of people smoking pot right there downtown! While I don't necessarily condone pot use, especially in public among kids. I'm educated enough to know it's not that bad either, so not seeing SWAT downtown, arresting people for it, was kind of neat (remember, I'm from hillbilly, backwards Idaho, so it's super conservative there.) The entire downtown smelled like pot, and the cops acted like it was normal. There were dozens of people playing around downtown, monkeying around and acting foolish, crawling on statues and fountains and what not, and everyone let them do it. This doesn't have anything to do with the concert either, the people simply seem liberated...in several ways. Sexually liberated, emotionally liberated, and no one seemed to mind law enforcement too much either. People could just have fun...and it didn't seem like our heavily, over policed nation that we've become since I was a child.

Ya Eugene is an odd town for sure and weed is everywhere especially now that it's legal. And the cops don't usually care but you can't normally smoke right out in the open but most of them realize there's a lot worse out there then weed. Was that infected mushroom show at the mcdonald theatre? psy and goa's pretty good I'm more into drum and bass and breaks myself.
