Hey guys! Been a while. Sorry I lost my password for this forum. Just wanted to update everyone and let everyone know that it was because of an iron deficiency. Sorry I’m a piece of shit. Please forgive me. Totally forgot about this until someone commented it on my recent video. Love you all. I’m gonna have to visit this forum more often. Cheers - menthol

I’ve not heard of hair loss tied to kratom. I would consider the first typical reasons, like vitamin deficiency and perhaps illness, or even progeria?

Have a wee bit better day!

Agreed. I have also watched some Menthol's videos. Go Menthol! I'd give you advice about the hair....but I'm old and bald already. 😉

Lol when I first saw the headline my first thought was oh boy another 40+ year old thinking kratoms making them go bald. 😛
Then I noticed it's menthol, didn't know you visted here.
Anyways being your only 29 I would probably get a check up from your doctor perhaps. I know one guy that has been bald since 26 so who knows. The stress from quitting smoking may be a factor as well. Does your mother have a brother that is bald by chance? If I remember correctly, you being a male will often inherit the traits of your mothers brother and if a female your fathers sister. My mothers brother has quite the dome on his head. I thought I wasn't gonna go bald and missed that part of the gene pool but after I hit 40, it's a thinning. :woohoo: Oh well if it continues I'll try the skinhead approach if I don't have to many scary scars up there.
Anyways be well and stay warm. :-bd

The answer to the hair loss lies more acurately in deficiencies rather than something that has been added.

Low testosterone can lead to hair loss I think. Low testosterone also contributes to inflammation and chronic pain! My pain situation improved tremendously when I started supplementing with microdoses of testosterone.

Yeah same here man. I started going bald at 20 because of my dad. I haven't lost any extra hair, but I'm only a few months in. I am concerned about my liver though because it feels a tad swollen, and pain at times. I'm also that person that develops ideas in my head that I'm always dying. Always checking to see if I'm green, always smiling in the mirror to see if I've had a stroke, and feel like I'm having a heart attack everynight.. so idk

I have every symptom that web md says I have. I've also been itching for no reason all over my body for months now with no rash.... that's a sign of liver damage also

I had the itching all over as a part of peri menopause. Doubt you’re experiencing the change (lucky bastad), but that’s still a hormone deficiency issue that caused the itching. Definitely get a hormone balance check done. If your insurance will cover it. Mine won’t, so I had to figure it out for myself and then do what WEBMD said (because I also have every ailment listed - haha) and am now less miserable as peri menopause continues to haunt my life.
Good Luck!
PS: had NO IDEA I was tossing ideas around for a celebrity! Whoa 😮

I'm suppose to be on klonipin and when I am the ideas in my head of death seem to disappear.Just as quick as my klonipin does.

I think the whole hair loss and low test caused by kratom is one of those causation does not equal correlation. You have to look at other things as well. Low T could be caused by a number of issues including lack of sleep, stress which increases cortisol which leads to low test, and a poor diet especially one that lacks healthy fats.

What time of day did you get your blood drawn? If you had it drawn in the afternoon after a meal or two then your test levels will be lower. The optimal time to get your test levels checked is between 8 and 10 A:M on an empty stomach. One's levels could be 250 ng/dl if taken in the afternoon and 600 if taken first thing in the morning.

Throwing in my 2 cents:

I’m female. Over the last couple years had the itchy body rash, often at night, chest and lower back, arms. It wasn’t until I found out years later my liver was shot (almost cirrhosis.) the itch (in my case) was my liver being unable to filter properly and the body was trying to get rid of excess bile. I ended up in hospital for weeks with ridiculous jaundice and very sick. Not once did I mention Kratom to any of the doctors. I’ve wondered a lot if the Kratom I’m taking is harming my liver or hindering my healing, but can’t get a real answer online, and any doc will most likely just say just stop taking it. Kratom is really all I have left, I do no drugs or drink anymore.
If you have a doctor, why not just go get your liver numbers checked and ask your doc how you’re doing? Get a sonogram or something. Oh btw, my hair intermittently falls out in handfuls. I’m on a lot of vitamins. And my liver problems were due to drinking every day for 7-8 years so, different situation. I was taking kratom the last couple years, along with drinking. I’m out of the hospital 2 months, my numbers getting better slowly.
Long story short, get yourself checked!

I had my liver enzymes checked 3 times this Year.
Full blood work.
Nothing abnormal.
I use kratom 1 tablespoon 4 times a day.
Hope that helps.
Not to say we are aren't different but many I know had the same result .
No liver issues

We always provide top quality organic kratom at reasonable prices.
God bless and have a great day.

It's like kratom works for almost everyone, but a small few can't take it because of their liver. I do. I'm going to the doctor tuesday. Is turning green in the late stages of liver damage?
