Favorite Hacks to ENHANCE Your Kratom Experience!?
I found some good bits of info here and there throughout this forum but haven't seen a dedicated thread on "hacks" or tricks you do to enhance your kratom experience and keep you healthy long term. Some of us may be walking a thin line so every little benefit helps. What are some tricks or things you do to improve your kratom use?
I am by no means an expert but some of mine are....
-Brew it into tea. I did pretty much every method of consumption for a few years until I discovered tea and won't go back haha. It's just so much more enjoyable and easier on my gut. Also my teeth do not get nearly as stained with the tea.
-I find exercise to be CRITICAL for my kratom use. If I go 3 days or more without heavy cardio I am going to be a mess and the kratom simply will not be as effective.
-Drink a lot of fluids... I like to dump a Liquid IV stick in my water on occasion. Really helps me stay hydrated better than water alone. I can actually feel my skin get dehydrated if I'm stressed and stick to water alone regardless of how much I drink.
-Be careful about the timing of medications with kratom as it can block absorption. I try to dose away from supplements other than turmeric/curcumin.
-Have a schedule! Don't be all willy nilly with your doses. Things can start to slide downhill quick. Realize that there are times when you will be uncomfortable but that's OK! That feeling usually goes away after a while even without dosing.
-Don't eat junk food!!! Kratom tends to slow motility which is terrible for the gut, especially if you eat junk food. Try to stick to healthy options such as plant based or paleo. I typically follow Anthony Williams' Medical Medium (especially his morning routine) for this. I've tried just about every diet fad out there for my digestive problems over the last 15 years and Medical Medium has by far been the most helpful.
-Get a message! Or use rollers/percussive therapy guns to help alleviate some tension. We all know this feels amazing between doses (on a light setting of course).
Some supplements I take specifically for kratom use are
-Magnesium glycinate 200mg twice a day - was getting bad muscle spasms and tightness before I found this
-Turmeric/Curcumin 500mg once a day 20 minutes before a dose - helps potentiate the effects and makes them last a bit longer. I only do this once a day as I found this to have a blood thinning effect if taken too often so please keep this in mind if you take blood thinning medication.
-Pur Encapsulations or Designs by Health multivitamin - just a good idea to take this in general.

Great post! Lots of stuff like this got lost in the move to this newer platform. Thank you for updating it with fresh energy!
Have a wee bit better day!
I like to taken my kratom servings sublingually , I’ll toss powder under my tongue (occasionally with a tiny bit of water or juice ) and keep it there for a couple minutes… then work it around with my tongue “making mud” lol… as my friend Benni says …
This (for me and many others ) had a faster onset of benefits/ effects .
Previously, I used to mix my powder in GFJ, let it sit either overnight (if making doses for work day ) or at least a few minutes before drinking .
And always on a predominately empty stomach. Though … before I started intermittent fasting , I’d eat my 2-3 over easy eggs and a slice of toast with butter and avocado on it .. this was perhaps 5-10 minutes after taking kratom . Setting this never seemed to hinder the benefits I was seeking.
Vit c in general seems to add a kick to the strength of kratom.
ive enjoyed some tea here and there , but never went full force with it .. but I’m feeling inspired to make a cup 🤟
Thx for the awesome post 🙏🍂🙏

Yeah I always dose between meals or at least 40 minutes before. If I dose too close to meal time it will feel like I have a brick in my gut and I'll hardly be able to move. Definitely important to keep food and kratom separate in my experience.
First thing I do in the morning is drink at least 16 oz of water followed by a cup of kratom tea then 16-32oz of fresh celery juice (blend in a blender then strain with a bodum) and finally a banana, almond, orange juice, cilantro (to detox metals), wild blueberry (antioxidants), strawberry smoothie from a Nutribullet. Then I take my multivitamins after. This morning routine helps keep me hydrated, energized and and I won't feel bogged down like I used to when I ate solid food for breakfast. I will never go back after discovering this!!
I used to mix the powder (~8 grams) in a bit of lemon juice and water for each dose and it definitely does give more of a kick doing it this way but over time my gut was not havin it and I was getting very sick. Read somewhere that tea was easier on the gut so gave it a shot and sure enough started to recover over time.
The sublingual method seems to be gaining popularity but I don't think I can get into that just because of the taste and fear of staining my teeth 😬 I'm sure it's a nice feeling though.
