Stagnant Strain Syndrome

Do you suffer from stagnant strain syndrome? This may help you keep your doses low.

This is a term that you will hear veterans of the industry talk about as well as educated vendors. This is referring to the lack of effect you will get when using the same strain repeatedly. You are most likely to know this from your morning cup of coffee. Most people drink the same kind of coffee every morning at home. But, when you are out at maybe a friend’s house and have a cup of coffee, it will feel stronger. This is essentially the same thing.

Although all kratom is the same plant, we look at all the variations as if they were strains. The strains come from the age of the leaf when harvested, The maturity of the tree, the drying process as well as the soil composition and weather conditions where the trees grow. All of these things affect how the alkaloids in the kratom leaf mature, giving all 27 alkaloids different strengths. This is why people have preferences in vein color and strains. They affect us all differently.

The alkaloids in your favorite strain of Kratom are different than any other strain. When you expose your body to the same variations of alkaloids over and over again, your body gets used to them. This is why you start to see an increase in your dosage. This is what we call Stagnant Strain Syndrome. There are a few ways to keep this at bay, Keep your favorite strain your favorite and hopefully keep a few extra bucks in your billfold.

Multiple Strains on a Rotation and a Schedule

Most vendors will urge their customers to rotate through 3-4 strains a week. The best way to do this is to find a strain that works best for you for different times of the day. Find a strain that gets you going in the morning, A strain to keep you going and help with focus for a midday boost and a strain for the end of the day that can help you relax. This is just an example but, by finding a schedule like this, It will keep your tolerance low. You’re Vendor should be willing to help with this.

Kratom Fusions and Blends

Kratom Fusions and Blends have become more popular over the last few years as more and more vendors are offering this option. These are simply different strains or vein colors mixed together to create a new product. For example, it’s known that Green Kratom from Malaysia tends to have a longer-lasting effect and is added to many Fusions or Blends to increase longevity.

Stagnant Strain Syndrome. What is it?

Another way to combat Stagnant Strain Syndrome is to blend a few strains together. Many Vendors and Farmers have made their Fusions or Blends. For Example.. You could mix a blend of Red Borneo and White Borneo, by trying different percentages of each strain, you may find something that works for you. This can benefit customers who prefer White Strains and Red Strains. For customers that Like Red Strains, You will still get all the same effects you love with Red Borneo but you may find this is a great solution to add some energy and focus into your midday regiment. For customers who prefer White Strains, this may be the perfect strain to add to your schedule for evenings and help knock you down a peg. If you are not sure what Fusion or Blend is best for you, ask your vendor or jump on a discussion on the I Love Kratom Forum. Finding the right rotation of strains and a schedule that fits a lifestyle can be a tremendous benefit. You will find the doses are staying the same size and your favorite strains are keeping their luster. By not allowing your body and brain to find a stable concentration of alkaloids, your tolerance will be less likely to grow.

Try Kratom with a Potentiator

There are a few supplements and spices you can take with Kratom to make it more efficient, stronger, and last longer. I will be pointing out a couple that has added benefits. There are many others. Look through some of the threads here on the I Love Kratom forum and find what others are using as a potentiate.

Deal with stagnant strain syndrome

Turmeric – Turmeric has been voted as one of the healthiest supplements/spices you can take on a daily basis. It is a natural Anti-Inflammatory. It will dramatically increase the capacity of Antioxidants in your body and has been shown to improve brain function among many other benefits. When mixed with kratom it acts as a potentiate. It will help activate the alkaloids within the kratom leaf and sustain them much longer. This in turn feels like the kratom is stronger and will help it last longer.

Magnesium – Magnesium can help lower the tolerance levels in your body. Magnesium is filled with NMDA receptor antagonists, this is why it works so well with Kratom. However, very little is needed. Magnesium can be calming in higher doses.

It’s A Journey

Kratom is a Journey, Websites like the I Love Kratom Forum and your vendor can help guide you until you find the right strains and dose. Remember, that what you read online and what kratom connoisseurs will tell you is their personal dealings with Kratom. It is different for everyone. You must take the steps on your own. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find what’s right for you. When you find the perfect weekly regiment, you will know.

These are just a few tips to keep this little miracle-working for you.
