Blue River Wellness is a family owned and operated company based outside of Charleston, SC. Founded in 2012 by longtime Kratom advocate, Robert McMahan, Blue River Wellness (formerly Coastal Kratom) is primarily focused on distributing premium Kratom, CBD, and ethnobotanical products. We have a consistent focus on customer service and logistics, while keeping the quality of our products to the highest of standards. These values and principles are the cornerstone of our company, and making (and keeping) our customers happy is our primary focus! Q: What year did you begin? A: 2012 Q: What was your motivation for starting your company? A: Coastal Kratom (our former name) was founded after recovering from a 30 ft. fall from a rooftop in 2010, and then searching for a safe and natural pain management alternative. With Kratom, I was not only able to walk again, but had also regained my will to live. At this time, there were no decent vendors on the East Coast and it became my personal mission to change that. Q: What are your future plans for the company? A: We are currently working on rebranding, while focusing primarily on our packaging and new product development. We have not advertised or engaged in any marketing at all since 2016 and we will be ready to resume growing and promoting BRW by early Fall. Q: What separates your company from others like yours? A: We have remained true to our core values regarding Kratom and the industry as a whole, and have never used sketchy and questionable product names and product verbiage that only threaten the stability of an already unstable industry. We’ve never sacrificed the integrity of the Kratom community for our own personal gain, and we never will. We also strive to make customer satisfaction paramount and have longtime loyal customers because of that. Q: What are your top 5 products and why? A: Our number one product is our own house blend of several strains, the Bright Eyes blend, which has remained a strong customer favorite for several years. The other four are Elephant Indo, Ultra Maeng Da, Green Malay and White Vietnam.

Q: What specials do you offer? A: We have a customer reward program where points are earned with each purchase and we will be offering substantial sales and coupon codes when we ‘relaunch’ with our new branding and packaging later this year. A: At this time we are not, but we are diligently working towards that, while following strict guidelines for the handling and packaging of all of our products. A: We have not received any awards or certificates but we are extremely proud of the vast amount of research data that we have compiled about Kratom, that has been shared by both vendors and consumers and has proven helpful in regard to keeping Kratom legal.
